They worship a Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) but maintain that this is the same historical God of Israel. • Islam: Refers to him as Ibrahim. Muslims trace their lineage back to Abraham through his first son, Ishmael. Islam views itself as the restoration of the pure monotheistic faith originally taught by Abraham, culminating with the prophet Muhammad – which makes this Yahweh/Ba’al war death cult
